EVENT DETAILS

Important

Event Rules

To ensure a smooth, fair, and safe event for all participants, please carefully review and follow the rules outlined below:

  • Each team must consist of 2 cyclists.
  • Only one cyclist per team is allowed on the course at any given time, riding alongside cyclists from other teams.
  • The event is a team time trial relay over a 22 km loop.
  • The start and finish line are at the same location.

  • There is a designated transition area where riders hand over to the next team member.

  • Rider 1 starts the clock. Once they complete the loop, Rider 2 begins, and so on until all two have completed the course which in one loop per rider.

  • No overlapping allowed on transition – any team caught overlapping will be disqualified.
  • The winning team is the one with the fastest combined time after all two riders have completed the course.
  • There will be price for fastest rider both males and female’s category.
  • Teams must register online by providing:
    • Team Name
    • Full Surnames and initials of all 2 riders
    • List riders as per the starting grid e.g. 1and 2.
    • E bikes will be competing with other teams riding E bikes.
    • This is an open challenge for female and male groups.
  • No substitutions or rider changes allowed on the day of the event.
  • Team captains are responsible for ensuring all details are correct and the events office is notified of any changes before the event.
  • Incorrect or incomplete rider lists will lead to disqualification.
  • Each rider will receive a disposable timing tail board (included in the entry fee).
  • Timing is done via Chip Timer.
  • Entry numbers and collection info will be communicated to teams.
  • No nutrition or meals will be provided by the event organizer during the ride.
  • Riders are responsible for bringing their own energy supplements.
  • A water point will be available at the midpoint of the loop for those who need to refill.
  • Riders are encouraged to use meal facilities available at the venue, but all food and beverages must be purchased at the rider’s own expense.
